Ghumti Pustakalaya

A Community Library by Edmondson Park Bardia Nepalese Community.

Ghumti Pustakalaya is a community-driven mobile library created to encourage reading, sharing, and learning within the Edmondson Park Bardia Nepalese Community (EDBNC). Since the early days of EDBNC, the library has played an important role in connecting readers through meaningful books. After being paused for some time, we are excited to relaunch it with a fresh vision and renewed enthusiasm.

Our library is built on a simple belief:

A good book becomes even better when shared.

We collect books that someone in our community has personally read and recommended—books they found inspiring, helpful, or memorable, and now want others to enjoy as well. This makes every book in Ghumti Pustakalaya special, carrying a personal story and a trusted recommendation.

You are welcome to:
Borrow books by contacting any of our executive committee members.
Donate books if you have something valuable that you think others would love to read.

Our aim is to grow a diverse, meaningful, and community-curated collection of books that continues to inspire our members and keeps the joy of reading alive within the Nepalese community.
