Abhivabak Kalyan Samaj
The Abhivabak Kalyan Samaj is a community-based parents group formed under the umbrella of the Edmondson Park Bardia Nepalese Community (EDBNC). It was created by parents living in Edmondson Park, Bardia, and the surrounding suburbs with the aim of building a supportive, joyful, and connected environment for our elders.
Our parents group organises a range of activities designed to bring happiness, engagement, and companionship to parents in our community. These include social events, group picnics, tours, morning and evening walks, and celebrations of major Nepalese cultural festivals. Through these events, we strive to keep our cultural values alive while creating meaningful moments for our elders.
The core motive of Abhivabak Kalyan Samaj is simple yet heartfelt — to make parents feel at home, even when they are far away from Nepal. By fostering friendships, promoting wellbeing, and celebrating traditions, we hope to ensure that every parent feels valued, respected, and connected within our community.
